Membership

OUR OBJECTIVES

To promote the principles of the Democratic Party at all levels and to stimulate a participating interest in public affairs that will foster better and more representative government.
To support and solicit support for legislation and governmental action on national, state, county and local levels which will reflect the best interests of the people in the respective areas.
To unite and increase the political power of Haitian Democrats within the Democratic Party of Florida. and to take appropriate public stands on issues relevant to the Haitian community. To foster good fellowship among the Haitian community and the community at large.
To encourage qualified citizens in becoming candidates for public office.
To support and elect duly selected nominees of the Democratic Party in national, state and local campaigns.
To ensure that issues of concern to the Haitian community are made known to the Democratic Party and that the Democratic Party positions on these issues are communicated to the Haitian community.
To encourage Haitians to seek public office and participate in delegate selections and committee processes at all levels of the Democratic Party, conventions, and organizations.
